Long before I moved to Taiwan, when I was still just a travel-hungry Colorado girl, I used to daydream about eating exotic-looking fruits fresh from a local market on some tropical island somewhere.
Now, here I am—on a tropical island somewhere—eating beautifully tasty fresh fruit and painting it to boot. Life is neat sometimes, and this little dragonfruit painting is my own little reminder of it.
