Let's paint some clothes! Bring a garment that could use a little sprucing-up and we'll use specialized fabric paint to transform it into a work of art. (A great opportunity to DIY your Halloween costume!)

Ready to upcycle a piece of clothing from "meh" to "wow"?
In this workshop, you'll learn to work with fabric paint to redesign and upcycle a garment that you already own. Bring your shirts, dresses, shorts, jackets, even baseball caps--we'll do some practice on scrap fabric first, and then I'll show you my methods for transforming an old piece of clothing into a wearable work of art.
*Note: For best results, bring clothing that is plain-colored (not patterned) and without too much texture. Cotton, denim, and other durable materials work best, in my experience! If you're not sure about an item, or you don't have one of your own, send me a message! I'm happy to give you advice and/or help you find a secondhand item to paint during the workshop.
