About the event
Welcome to Story Time + Art Class! 📚🎨
In this workshop for kids of all ages, we will read the classic picture book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds, about a young artist named Vashti who learns the power of making a mark and seeing where it will take you...
After the story time, we will engage in a short discussion about the book and then create paintings of our own, inspired by Vashti's artwork in "The Dot."
With guidance from Teacher Rosie, we'll learn how to use different painting tools to make a mark... and see where it takes us!
By the end of the class, students will have learned how to ignite their creativity and will bring home a Dot-inspired painting of their very own.
