About the event
Welcome to Story Time + Art Class! 📚🎨
In this workshop for kids of all ages, we will read the picture book "The Day the Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt, about a box of crayons who have some strong opinions...
After the story time, we will engage in a short discussion about the book and then create artwork of our own, inspired by the book.
With guidance from Teacher Rosie, we'll learn how to use different painting tools to reconsider which colors we choose and why!
By the end of the class, students will have learned how to ignite their creativity and will bring home a story-inspired painting of their very own.
